Get to know us
We are a small tech startup building a tool to foster a more equitable electoral process. Created for young voters, by young voters, Equiballot provides clear information on when, where, and how to vote, as well as who is running in each election.
This venture was inspired by our own challenges with voting—missed deadlines, limited access to information about local candidates, and low engagement with the electoral process. Equiballot addresses these issues by delivering concise, reliable information through a simple and accessible platform.
Our team
Our strength lies in our individuality. Our two co-founders bring backgrounds in engineering, history and Spanish. Both having studied Entrepreneurship in their undergraduate studies, they bring a passion for civic engagement.

Our progress
Equiballot began as an idea at Tufts University and quickly gained recognition. The team won first place in the Tufts $100K New Ventures Competition and went on to compete in the Draper Competition. In 2024, we launched our first pilot in Boston, testing the platform with real voters and gathering insights to improve accessibility and engagement.
We are now preparing a second pilot ahead of the 2026 midterm elections as we continue to expand Equiballot’s reach and impact.
